Response to YF Meeting 19 April 08

This post is written for all who see this, to be encouraged in our walk with the Lord. And especially for the Youth committee, that's newly appointed. I just wanted to share with you what the early church has gone through. May we be encouraged, in knowing that our Lord has handpicked every single on of you to be leaders.

Dominic- chairperson. Do not be daunted by the ardous task ahead. God will not tempt you beyond what you can bear. Know that he will send you help for his work.

Bethanie- Vice-Chairperson. It's is indeed a joy to see you serving the Lord whole heartedly despite having entered into a new phase of life in polytechnic. Conitnue to do God's work fervently and support dominic with his role

Anna, Gabriel, Irving and Harry- Carry your portfolios well. and use your talents which God has given you to serve Him and his people.

I hope the following verses will spur you on in this journey.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)


And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Romans10:23-25

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.


Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

1 Timothy 4:12-16
